Monergy was devised by Austrian and Italian experts with the goal of conceiving concrete solutions to monitor the energy consumptions of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Carinthia households, and to allow a smart usage of electric appliances. It further aims at increasing the inter-regional knowledge of solutions in the field of home automation (domotics) and smart grids.<\/p>\n

The project partners are Lakeside Labs<\/a><\/strong> and WiTiKee<\/a> <\/strong>s.r.l..<\/p>\n

WiTiKee<\/a> <\/strong>is a spin-off company of the University of Udine that carries out research activity in the field of communication systems for applications to the Smart Grids and to the technologies for sustainability. WiTiKee develops innovative solutions for data networks, for monitoring and controlling the electric grids, and for telemetry systems by using wireless and power line communication technology. It has significant experience related to measurement systems and signal processing techniques. It further conducts characterization and compliance tests of telecommunication devices.
